Single Outlet Sink Garbage Disposal Air Activated Power Module

Using this with my new garbage disposal and am totally satisfied. It installed easily, works perfectly. I am glad I didn't spend more money on the disposal-brand switch. This should work with any disposal with a regular power plug. In the case of my Insinkerator Evolution Compact, that required the additional purchase of a power cord kit. Included is a long spool of air tubing which you can cut down to the appropriate size. The power cord coming out of the module is around 3 feet long. You can attach the module to the wall or the inside of your under-sink cabinet somewhere using the 4 metal reinforced mounting holes on the module. The button has a nice brushed nickel finish and requires a 1-3/8 opening. Everything is made from a lightweight plastic but feels sturdy enough. It comes in a no-frills sealed plastic bag with no manuals but do you really need the paper waste?

I used this on a jet tub deck to control the inline water heater. The button looks nice and the switch works well.

The item came missing a compression cutting for the air line, but still works. It's a cool little unit. Looks great. works great.

Great option if wall switch doesn't exist! Looks awesome as was super easy to install. One thing I didn't realize before ordering was that one push is on, and another push is off. I thought you had to hold it down which is incorrect.

I don't know if I've ever been more happy with a purchase. I didn't even know they made these things. Having a button right next to my sink handle makes using the disposer much easier.

This product is an excellent alternative to installing a wall switch (especially for someone like me who was installing a garbage disposal from scratch and didn't have any existing wiring). I had an existing hole in the sink top so it was a breeze to install. I have been using it for about a month now and have had zero problems with it. The button has worked every time. If there had to be a downside to this product, which I would really say there is, a few of my more curious friends have turned on the disposal unintentionally because they were curious about what the button was.
