Single Outlet Sink Garbage Disposal Air Activated Power Module

Less expensive than some others I looked at. However this particular one requires an exceptionally deep button push to actuate the switch which is awkward for a woman with anything but very short nails.

I used this to control the disposal I just purchased. Having used the (twice as expensive) InSinkErator brand in the past, this was a pleasant surprise. It works just as well as the more expensive model. Based on some negative reviews here, I tested mine with an outlet tester before installing it. It was wired correctly. Also, all of the required parts were included in the unit i received. Only time will tell if this holds up, but so far it functions perfectly, and I am pleased with the fit and finish of the button. As of now, I would recommend this product, and buy it again if I needed another.

This thing is so cool! Extra long cord and air hose was very helpful! I need chrome or stainless steel but that was my mistake, I thought the picture looked light enough. If you are worried about it being too light don't worry, it really is brushed nickel. - Fit in my old soap dispenser hole. - Super easy to hook up, took me 5 min tops. - I will put these in every house I remodel from here on out!

Update - processed this as a return, and promptly re-ordered it. The 2nd order came complete. Only difference was that this order came with everything in a plastic bag. The first order had the actual air switch in its own box. As there were no other pieces, not sure how ithe whole thing should have come. Regardless, all the parts were correct and the install was quick. As other feedback noted, the button is not really brushed nickel, more stainless - it's pretty shiny. I'm good with it. When it fails, maybe in a year, I can just replace it with the correct color for a decent price. Rating this 3 stars as I was unable to get the parts as needed and had to return and reorder. ---------------------- Mine came without the bushed nickel button and tubing. Just the electrical piece. Saw this on another review but hoped this company had this issue resolved. Working to get the order completed now.

Super easy to install, directions were vague, but you can figure it out. I wish I had bought this the first time and saved myself the trouble of removing my previous switch installation.
