Single Outlet Sink Garbage Disposal Air Activated Power Module

Writing this just after receiving the item. I'll update if the install and use experience turns up anything remarkable not already covered in other reviews. My big surprise upon opening and examining this device is that the part that plugs into the power is not UL listed, it doesn't have any safety ratings at all shown on the labels. Generally I'm reluctant to install stuff that plugs in that isn't UL listed as I worry that it could start a fire. I will likely go ahead and install this as it seems like a simple device and it will get installed onto a GFCI outlet so failure should trip that promptly (I'm also a little more reassured as the spot it gets installed would be hard to start a fire if this melted).

Bought this for my new garbage disposal. works exactly as you'd expect it. Some older review complain about the polarity being reversed and having to open up the unit. Guess the manufacturer paid attention because this now seems fixed. Plenty of wire and tubing to allow for a huge versatility in installation.

This installed easily and has worked great for a couple months now. Far cheaper than purchasing in the big box stores.

Super easy install and looks fantastic. After deciding on an expensive glass tile backsplash we wanted to eliminate as many wall switches S possible. This was a great value and looks fantastic.

Functionally the switch worked fine, unfortunately the description of the button color was inaccurate. It described the button as brushed nickel, which to me has a more satin finish. When the unit arrived it was very shiny and didn't go with our other brushed nickel fixtures, the instructions even described the finish as brushed chrome rather than brushed nickel. I ended up returning it and buying the insinkerator model, which was a much better match to our other fixtures but was significantly more expensive.
