Filter Project 10 Ft (9' 8") Automatic Self Cleaning Dry Granite Dust Collector is made to trap 99% of Dust from Granite, Marble, Engineered Stone, Quartz, Quartzite, Fiberglass, Ceramic, Porcelain, and other airborne particles
Filter Project 10 ft (actual dimension 9'8") (3 meter) Dry Dust Collection Booths are all stainless steel, heavy duty, dry dust collectors made to eliminate 99.99% of dust particles.
With the additional requirements initiated by OSHA for Silica in the granite and engineered stone, the Filter Project Clean Air Dry Dust Collection Booths will be a major advantage in removing silica dust from the air. Filter Project Automatic Dry Dust Collectors vacuum air from the bottom of the unit. That means that the air flow is coming from below the knees, creating a downward pull of air. The major advantage of this air flow movement is that the dust is pulled down from the work table immediately away from the face. This design is the absolute best way to reduce as much dust from the workers as fast as possible.
The operation of the Dry Dust Collector is extremely simple. Simply push the button and work in front of it. The dust will be vacuumed horizontally into the dry dust collector without the fabricator breathing any of the dust.
How do the Automatic Dry Dust Collection Booths Work?
The Filter Project Dry Dust Collectors have specially designed cloth filtering sleeves inside the Dry Dust Collector. When turned on the Dry Dust Suction Walls very powerful motors create a strong vacuum that pulls the dust particles horizontally from the work bench area and then pulls it down to the bottom of the wall and inside the unit. Inside the dust collector the many cloth filtering sleeves trap the dust and captures 99.99% of the dust. Only clean filtered air comes out the top of the Dry Dust Cabin.
The dust is then collected in the catch basin drawer at the bottom of the drydust collection booth. Every day or once a week, depending on use, simply empty the dust that has been collected in the bottom of the catch basin.
The Filter Project Dry Dust Collection Booth comes with a 3 ft (1 meter) extension enclosure that provides additional dust control and greater vacuum efficiency. 6 ft (2 meter) extension enclosures are available as options
Dry Dust Collectors in Automatic Self Clean mode: a self-cleaning system with compressed air, made by a pressurized tank, and a series of membrane electrovalves with specific blowing tubes are nside the cloth filter sleeves and controlled by an automatic sequencer. That means that the unit is self cleaning. Once the Dry Dust Collector is turned off, the system will automatically go through an air cleaning cycle to blow the dust out of the sleeves and the dust will settle at the bottom inside the dust drawers.
Designed to trap 99% of Granite Dust, Marble Dust, Engineered Stone Dust, Quartz Dust, Concrete Dust, Natural Stone Dust, and other fine airborne particles. These dust collectors are the best way to remove granite dust, quartz, dust, marble dust, out of a fab shop.
These units are the best dust collection systems for stone fabrication and removing granite dust, marble dust, quartz, and engineered stone dust out of the environment.
Dry Dust Collector Electrical Requirements:
220 (208) 3 Phase Power
20 Amp Breaker
Also required is a 90 PSI, minimum 2 CFM air connection
Filter Project Granite and Stone Dust Collection Dry Wall Replacement Sleeves:
Filter Project Granite and Stone Automatic Dry Dust Collectors come with a complete set of Dust Sleeves already installed on the dry dust collectors.
Once the dust collector sleeves are worn out they will need to be replaced.
Filter Project Automatic Dry Dust Collectors make it very simple and easy to change the bags. Simply loosen the clamp and slide them off. Watch the video below to see how to change out the filter sleeves.
Maintenance of the Dry Dust Collector Filter Sleeves:
After 6 months to a 1 year, remove the sleeves, blow them out, and wash them with water. Let them dry and reinstall them.
When the Dry Dust Collector starts loosing vacuum power, it will be time to change out the Sleeves.
Filter Project Dry Dust Collector Booths can be used for all types of airborne particle:
Granite Dust Collection
Marble Dust Collection
Quartz Dust Collection
Quartzite Dust Collection
Concrete Dust Collection
Cultured Marble Dust Collection
Fiberglass Dust Collection
Porcelain Dust Collection
